The 2007 Kia Rondo LX is a compact crossover wagon known for its exceptionally spacious interior, versatile passenger and cargo accommodations, affordable pricing, and car-like driving characteristics. Designed to combine the practicality of a minivan with the manageable dimensions of a conventional passenger car, the Rondo offered an alternative to larger SUVs and minivans. Its tall roofline, upright seating position, large door openings, and flexible interior layout provide generous passenger headroom and convenient cabin access. Measuring approximately 179 inches long, the Rondo delivers substantial interior space within a relatively compact exterior footprint, making it particularly practical for everyday transportation and family use.

Power is supplied by a 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine producing 182 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. The V6 features an aluminum-alloy engine block and cylinder heads, continuously variable valve timing, and electronic throttle control. The five-speed automatic transmission includes Kia's Sportmatic manual shift mode, allowing the driver to select gears when desired. Standard safety equipment includes four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, and front, side-impact, and side-curtain airbags.

The LX trim provides a practical selection of comfort and convenience features, including air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD audio system, power windows and door locks, and a versatile interior with split-folding rear seats. This example is also equipped with remote keyless entry, roof rails, and 16-inch six-spoke alloy wheels.
