The 2000 Lincoln Town Car Signature is a full-size American luxury sedan characterized by its traditional body-on-frame construction, rear-wheel-drive layout, and spacious six-passenger interior. Built on Ford's Panther platform, the Town Car features a long wheelbase, substantial exterior dimensions, and a suspension system designed primarily for passenger comfort. The Signature Series occupied the middle position in Lincoln's Town Car lineup, between the Executive and Cartier trims.

Power is supplied by a naturally aspirated 4.6-liter SOHC V8 engine producing 200 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The Town Car features an independent front suspension, a solid rear axle with a four-link suspension arrangement, and four-wheel disc brakes.

This example features a blue leather interior, eight-way power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, automatic climate control, keyless entry, cruise control, automatic headlights, and a HomeLink garage door opener. Audio equipment includes an Alpine sound system with an AM/FM/cassette stereo.
