The 2014 Ford F-150 is a popular, full-size light-duty pickup truck that marks the final model year of the truck's 12th generation (2009–2014), closing out the era of steel-bodied beds before Ford switched to aluminum bodies.

The F-150 STX is a mid-level, sport-styled trim of the pickup that sits right above the base XL model and below the more comfort-oriented XLT, focusing heavily on a cleaner, more aggressive look. It features standard 17-inch painted alloy wheels, body-color bumpers and a black grille, and black accented exterior trim, doing away with the plain black plastic or heavy chrome found on base work truck.

Over the bare-bones XL, the STX adds standard conveniences like power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, and the Ford SYNC infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Power is provided by a 5.0L Coyote V8 generating 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, and is routed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission with Select Shift manual mode.
